KATE IS A CURRENT STUDENT OF THE LLM IN PRACTICE WITH THE LPC AT MANCHESTER LAW SCHOOL, WHERE SHE RECENTLY COMPLETED HER GDL. HER THESIS WILL BE CENTRED AROUND THE HUMAN AND ENVIRONMENTAL COST OF FAST FASHION, HIGHLIGHTING THE NON-EXISTENCE OF LEGISLATION GOVERNING THIS AREA. PRIOR TO TURNING HER ATTENTION TO LAW, KATE WORKED IN THE BUSINESS SECTOR AS A BUYER FOR A GLOBALLY RECOGNISED LUXURY COMPANY. SHE HOLDS A DEGREE IN CLASSICAL STUDIES FROM KING’S COLLEGE, LONDON.
ACCOMPANYING HER LEGAL STUDIES, KATE HAS WORKED IN PARTNERSHIP WITH LAW FIRMS SLATER AND GORDON AND ADDLESHAW GODDARD BY PROVIDING PRO BONO SERVICES TO INDIVIDUALS AND START-UPS. SHE IS AN ONGOING VOLUNTEER AT THE VAUXHALL LAW CENTRE IN LIVERPOOL.
