Current law and policy:
Peru commits to extend specialized services to end violence against women. The Government of Peru commits to strengthen existing policies and actions for the eradication of all forms of violence against women and girls. Furthermore, the Government announces that it will extend the coverage of specialized services to address and prevent domestic violence against women to 80 per cent of the provinces of Peru in 2013 and to 100 per cent of provinces by 2016.
