HAVING VOLUNTEERED FOR VICTIM SUPPORT AND DURHAM UNIVERSITY'S

FOR THE ADVICE SECTOR. UPON GRADUATING DURING THE PANDEMIC,
SHE STARTED AN ONLINE LEGAL BLOG CALLED BEHIND THE LAW. HERE,
SHE EXPLORES TOPICAL ISSUES FEATURED IN THE MEDIA AND DISCUSSES
THE FACTS, LEGAL ISSUES AND IMPLICATIONS FOR HUMAN RIGHTS. THIS
INCLUDES COMMENTS ON CORONAVIRUS AND THE RULE OF LAW; FAST
FASHION, THE ENVIRONMENT AND LABOUR RIGHTS; AND THE THREAT
POSED TO DEMOCRACY BY SOCIAL MEDIA AND THE INTERNET. SHE
HOPES THIS WILL ENCOURAGE PEOPLE TO TAKE AN INTEREST IN LEGAL
ISSUES THAT AFFECT EVERYONE.
SHE HAS ALSO STARTED HER OWN BUSINESS, KATHY'S CREATIONS, AS A

ETHICAL AND ENVIRONMENTALLY-FRIENDLY ETHOS.
