Heritage Sanmi-Lawal

Heritage is a Final Year student of Law that is passionate about women’s rights. She is a researcher and writer who works with diverse women’s rights organisations, especially concerning curbing gender-based violence and promoting girl child education in Nigeria. She has worked and volunteered with organisations such as; Women at Risk International Foundation, Hacey Health Initiative and Malala Fund. Through writing and expressing her thoughts on various platforms, Heritage has educated people on key policies affecting girls and has partnered with organisations like Wilmat Development Foundation, Uganda, on assessing laws and policies that affect women's rights.
She is a Campus Ambassador for the EU-UN Spotlight Initiative on Prevention of Campus Sexual Violence and a World Literacy Foundation Ambassador.
