AMY READ LAW AT UNIVERSITY COLLEGE LONDON AND HAS A
PARTICULAR INTEREST IN HUMAN RIGHTS IN THE UK. HER
DISSERTATION EXAMINED THE ROLE OF ENVIRONMENTAL LAW IN
ACHIEVING SOCIAL JUSTICE AND SHE STUDIED VARIOUS MODULES
WHICH DEALT WITH SOCIAL ISSUES, SUCH AS HEALTHCARE LAW
AND EMPLOYMENT LAW, THROUGHOUT HER DEGREE.
WHILST AT UCL, AMY VOLUNTEERED FOR LONDON NIGHTLINE (A
CONFIDENTIAL TELEPHONE COUNSELLING SERVICE FOR
STUDENTS) AND FOR THE THE CITIZENS ADVICE BUREAU. AMY
ALSO HOLDS AN LPC AND LLM FROM BPP UNIVERSITY.
AMY IS CURRENTLY A TRAINEE SOLICITOR AT MACFARLANES LLP
AND IS INVOLVED WITH VARIOUS PRO BONO PROJECTS AT THE
FIRM. MOST RECENTLY, SHE HAS VOLUNTEERED AT A LEGAL ADVICE
CLINIC IN EAST LONDON AND FOR A FOOD BANK IN EUSTON.
